Meshcheryakov Publishing House was founded in 2005.

Our mission is to publish high-quality children’s books. We pay a lot of attention to the fiction literature for kids. Our most known series, noted among the professionals and readers, is «The Book with History». We are reproducing in details the editions, which really existed in the past, at the same time the content is interesting and understandable to the modern-day children.

The line «Reflections», as well as «The Book with History», can also be called a polygraphical masterpiece. The books introduce to our readers some of the most prominent artists, such as Arthur Rackham, John Bauer, Edmund Dulac, to name a few, and the masterpieces of the illustrations as well.

Meshcheryakov Publishing House is eager to acquaint our readers with the unknown or forgotten writers and artists. In order to fulfill this urge, we published «The Fairytales» illustrated by an English artist Walter Crane. We are also preparing for the publishing the works by an American writer Nathaniel Hawthorne and by an English writer Charles Kingsley.

Surely, we don’t forget Russian writers and artists. The line «The Plume of the Firebird» consists of the classical works by the best Russian and Soviet artists, e.g. Nikolai Kochergin, Evgeniy Rachev, Gennady Kalinovsky.

We are also interested in non-fiction for kids. The line «The Scientific Entertainments» is the collection of the bestselling books, making it to the top of the charts.

In 2010 the book by Olga Kuvikina «The Insects’ Letters» published by Meshcheryakov Publishing House was granted the «We Grow With the Book» award at the 12th National contest «Book of the Year».

Totally new direction of our policy is the publishing of the sets of cards. Their original themes and design attract readers, collectors and connoisseurs of art.

Meshcheryakov Publishing House collaborates closely with the widely-known and respectful Publishing Houses from all over the world, including Hodder and Stoughton (Great Britain), Salani Editore (Italy), Prestel Verlag (Germany) and many others. Together with our partners we are helping our readers to stay up-to-date with all the novelties of the world literature.
