About publishing house

Meshcheryakov Publishing House was founded in 2005.
We are aimed at the publishing of the high-quality books in the excellent printing quality. Readable content and high-quality printing enable the books of this publishing house to top the ratings of the biggest Russian bookstores.
More than 150 titles of various genres: fiction, albums, biographies of the famous artists have been published by Meshcheryakov Publishing House since its creation. Nowadays fiction and non-fiction books for children are the priorities of the publishing house. For instance, the “Scientific divertissements” series has become a collection of bestsellers based on classic popular-science titles for schoolchildren.
Sapid, readable texts are combined with masterly made illustrations by German Ogorodnikov, Vadim Medgibovsky, Mauri Kunnas, John Rowe and other well-known artists make the books unique and good both for children and suitable for family reading.
Gay and good-hearted children books by the best Russian and foreign authors such as A. Usachev, S. Georgiev, A. Mityaev, I. Farbarzhevich, S. Nordqvist, S. de Mari, the Nopola sisters etc. develop taste in literature and cultivate love for reading in children.
The books on practical psychology represent other significant area of activities of the publishing house. We are proud to announce that Mescheryakov Publishing House was the first who introduced the world-famous psychologists and writers Andrew Matthews and Jorge Bucay to Russian readers.
Meshcheryakov Publishing House collaborates closely with the leading foreign publishing houses: Prestel Verlag (Germany), Fayard, Flammarion (France), Nuevo Estremo (Argentina), Knopf, New Harbinger, Harper Collins (USA). In close cooperation with the partners the publishing house helps the Russian readers to keep up on the novelties of the world literature. At the same time it publishes the unknown works of the renowned writers. For example, the albums of Herluf Bidstrup were published at the time when he was almost forgotten in Russia; besides, few people knew about “Decameron” with his illustrations. For the first time Maurice Druon’s title “Paris from Caesar to Lois the Saint” was published in Russian. Historic crime fiction by N. Vico, E. Basmanova, C. Lovinger-Richard, novel about the present-day Gipsydom by D. Faleev, astonishing book-declaration of love by D. Ovodov, album on the food of the Soviet epoch by A. Biljo – artist, restaurateur and psychiatrist are also addressed to the adult readers.
